Thanks to all paralympians and the paralympics London 2012
September 06, 2012

I went for a run this morning.  I had some tendonitis, as well as some hip pain.  On another morning, I would have felt discouraged by the the vicissitudes of an aging body that does not respond the way it used to.

But today, I thought of all those paralympians.  My tendonitis and stiff joints are nothing in comparison to what they overcome very day:  I imagined one of them next to me smiling, and it gave me tremendous strength and motivation to complete my run.

So thank you all you paralympians for teaching me all about what it means to be motivated, and to be grateful for the life that we have.
