The tag-line of “Gates of Vienna” states:
“At the siege of Vienna in 1683 Islam seemed poised to overrun Christian Europe. We are in a new phase of a very old war.”
There is still a significant divide in my world between people who are willing to accept this unpleasant fact, and those who are unwilling.
The writer of Gates of Vienna writes a great entry on what our future might look like if we don’t act. It is in the form of a press release, dated 2067.
