100 Women in Hedge Funds raise $2.2 million for Big Brothers Big Sisters at 3rd Anniversary Gala and Benefit
For the third year in a row, Amanda was the Chair of the Gala Committee for the Annual 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ Gala event. This year the Gala raised more than $2.2 million for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the largest and oldest mentoring organization in the US. The sold out event was held on November 15, 2004, a day designated as “100 Women in Hedge Funds Day” in New York City by Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Guy and Lory welcome Eva Marlene Spier into the world
On October 2, 2004, Lory gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Eva Marlene. She was born at 3.43pm and weighed 6lbs, 13 ounces.

In September, Guy chaired a panel discussion at Wharton on “Bridging the Gap: Sustainable Environment.” Among the panelists were Eduardo Wanick, President, Dupont Latin America, Iqbal Quadir, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and Forest Reinhardt, Harvard Business School, Harvard University.
